ACC employer invoicing takes place in July and is based on employee earnings for the year ended 31 March. The IRD forward earnings information provided monthly by employers to the ACC, and from this, ACC calculates the total amount due.
The relevant information forwarded comprises:
- Total gross earnings
- Total earnings not liable to earner levy
- Withholding payments
- The total earnings exceeding the maximum threshold on which ACC levy is applied
